Is there anything specific that can be improved upon?
Additional comments or suggestions? First off, I want to tell you what a pleasure Joel was to work with. He was always nice & professional. He was flexible in when / where we met to discuss the wedding. I REALLY appreciate the fact that when I sent him an inquiry about the date, he said he wanted to talk about what my needs were and tell me a little bit about himself before he even talked about pricing & I never felt like he was trying to sell me or just get a check to lock down the date. I really like the online planning tool, although I did have a few problems with the system. It may have been operator error, but some of the functions weren't overly intuitive. As far as the event goes, Joel was a great host and really worked hard to get people on the dance floor. I was a little disappointed that the flow didn't go exactly as planned and there were certainly some challenges with the indoor / outdoor venue. I'm not sure if my wedding planner changed the order and flow of some of the events (which is entirely possible), but we never got to cut the grooms cake and our bridal party dance was moved to later in the night than originally planned. I just think there was a communication gap somewhere between myself, Nancy (the wedding coordinator) and Joel. And though I greatly appreciate Joel working in all my song requests from my "play if possible" list, we might have been able to get a few more people out on the dance floor with some more traditional wedding songs. I know I picked out a lot of hip-hop and I completely take the blame for that, but I also think it would have been good for Joel to play some things that might appeal to a broader audience. All of that being said, I had a great time and I really appreciate all Joel did. I was on the dance floor all night & I have heard from so many people that they had a blast and really enjoyed the wedding. The above comments are simply constructive feedback. Joel is a great guy and I really enjoyed working with him.
