  • Britney Ready for North American Trek
Britney Spears has added a pair of dates to her North American Circus tour, which launches Aug. 20. A third night at New York's Madison Square Garden was tacked on for Aug. 26, and a new San Diego show is slated for Sept. 24. "We've changed up a couple of numbers in the show, so that's going to make it a lot more fun for me and the dancers," she says.

  • T.I.'s Trail Goes Cold
Plans for a reissue of T.I.'s Paper Trail have been scrapped, according to Atlantic Records. The expanded Paper Trail, reportedly set for release Aug. 18, was to include up to five new songs. A video for one of the tracks, "Remember Me" featuring Mary J. Blige, has debuted here, and a "Hell of a Life" clip was also in the works.

  • Swift Plans "Theatrics" for VMAs Debut
Taylor Swift will make her performance debut at the 26th annual MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 13 in New York. She's set to sing a revamped version of "You Belong With Me" for the show. "I love incorporating theatrics into my performances, and the VMAs have always allowed artists to run with that," she says. British comedian Russell Brand is back to host for a second time.

  • Keri Hilson, Kid Cudi and The-Dream are among the artists taking part in BET's Rising Icons series, premiering July 27. Chrisette Michele, Ryan Leslie and Walé are also participating. Each 30-minute episode follows one of the up-and-coming artists at home and on the road. The series is a collaboration with Grey Goose Vodka, which also includes an in-progress tour.

  • Jackson To Receive Las Vegas Tribute
A Michael Jackson tribute concert will be staged in Las Vegas at the Palms Casino and Resort on Aug. 29, which would have been the late King of Pop's 51st birthday. The event will feature performers who currently are appearing at various revues in Sin City. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the VH1 Save the Music Foundation. Meanwhile, memorabilia that Michael helped design for his planned This Is It concert series is now available online and at select stores.
