Bey and Tip Top BET Nominees

Beyoncé and T.I. lead the pack for the 2009 BET Awards with five nominations each. Bey's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" and "If I Were a Boy" and T.I.'s "Live Your Life" featuring Rihanna will battle for Video of the Year. Lil Wayne, Keri Hilson and T-Pain follow with four nods apiece. Jamie Foxx, who is up for three awards, will host and Ne-Yo will perform. See all of the nominees here:


GaGa Working on New Material
Lady GaGa is still successfully working The Fame, but some fresh tracks are in the works. "I'm planning to release approximately six new songs by the end of the year," she says. Get a GaGa fix now courtesy of her new collaboration with Rihanna, titled "Silly Boy," here, and three new remixes of "LoveGame," which are now available on iTunes.


Mraz Begins North American Tour in July
Jason Mraz has just unveiled the initial dates for a stateside arena trek in support of his latest album, We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things. The so-called Gratitude Café Tour is scheduled to launch July 25 in Columbia, Md., and is currently booked through an Aug. 20 gig in Minneapolis, Minn., with additional shows in September and October expected to be announced soon. Eminem Gives Back to Autoworkers
Eminem is bringing about 200 laid-off autoworkers from the Detroit area to Los Angeles for his appearance Friday on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! "We wanted to remind everyone that there are real people affected by what's going on in Detroit," the rapper says. Meanwhile, an animated version of Em co-hosts Fox's Animation Domination with Family Guy's Stewie Griffin on Sunday. Finally, check out the Relapse packaging here.
Ciara has announced that she and Jay-Z will co-headline an R&B/hip-hop tour this summer. The songbird tweeted the message on her Twitter page Monday night. "I will say it because the information has been leaked," she confirmed. "Me and Jay-Z will be doing a 10-city tour run together!" Although no dates have been formally announced, stops in Las Vegas (July 3 and 4), Uncasville, Conn. (July 10), and Atlanta (July 12) have been reported.
